PIL for inquiry into Asaram Ashram students deaths

Gujarat High Court is to decide on a demand for a judicial inquiry into the deaths of two students of Asaram gurukul. The mysterious circumstances in which the bodies of the students were found has led to a state wide protest against Asaram. People allege that the boys around 11 were killed as part of a tantrik ritual by Asaram.
The demand has been raised through a Public Interest litigation filed in the High Court today. A bench of Justice M S Shah and Justice D H Vaghela has fixed the hearing of the petition for Tuesday. The petitioner has demanded that the HC should surprise the inquiry.The PIL has come a day after Gujarat government announced its decision to set up an inquiry by a retired HC judge. 78 year old Pran Jeevan Parmar has filed the petition.
