Hyderabad: A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Chief Justice A.R. Dave and Justice R. Subhash Reddy on Monday dismissed the writ petition filed seeking action against the officers named by former Vigilance Commissioner R. Samal.
The writ petition was filed by former activist of Telugu Desham Party P.A. Prasad. He informed the court that the reading of the report reveals startling things and that the officers named in the report be proceeded against forthwith in public interest.
The government said that it is not a statutory report and such pleas cannot be entertained.
The Bench dismissed the case.
