The Karnataka High Court on Thursday stayed the June 14, 2008 order of the State Information Commission which brought Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) under the RTI Act, reports DHNS from Bangalore. In its petition, the BIAL had said that in the total outlay of Rs 2,000 crore, only Rs 450 crore was the contribution of the State. Of this, Rs 350 crore was by way of loan, it said, seeking a stay on the order.
