Direct-to-Home Service Provider Tata Sky today assured the Delhi High Court of restoring all channels of sports broadcaster ESPN on its basic offers within 12 days. Recording the statement of Tata Sky's Counsel Ramji Srinivasan that the pack which was prevalent on May 20 will be restored to all subscribers, Justice Manmohan today passed an order after hearing a petition filed by ESPN challenging Tata Sky's decision to carry out transmission of these channels out of its base pack.The Tata Sky had already discontinued three channels from its base pack from June 1. The court had earlier asked ESPN not to disconnect or disrupt the signals being provided to Tata Sky, and ordered that the commercial terms to be decided by TDSAT. But Tata Sky maintained saying that its new offer was on the lines of TRAI’s regulations. "The new package is also in line with the promise of digital television, which is offering consumers' choice of channels," Tata Sky added.UNI6/6/2008
