HYDERABAD: The AP High Court on Thursday upheld the judgment of a lower court in Guntur district and acquitted Dhulipalla Narendra, a TDP legislator from Ponnur and six others in a murder case.
The division bench comprising Justices A Gopala Reddy and B Seshasayana Reddy was dealing with a murder case filed against the MLA and others following poll-related violence in 1998.
In another verdict, a bench comprising Justices B Prakasa Rao and L Narasimha Reddy upheld a Kadapa court verdict which exonerated 19 of the 26 accused in a mass murder case.
