Chennai, May 09: Outgoing Madras High Court Chief Justice (CJ) AP Shah had delivered 21,000 judgements in his tenure, Advocate General G Masilamani disclosed during the farewell function here today.
Chief Justice Shah was transferred to the Delhi High Court following which the a warm farewell was given to him today.
Accepting the farewell, Chief Justice Shah thanked co-judges, the bar and the State Government for the good cooperation he had got during his tenure.
High Court Judges, Madras High Court Advocates Association President Paul Kanagaraj, Bar Association President Krishnamurthy,Bar Council Chairman Chandramohan and senior advocates participated.
