In a huge embarrassment for the Haryana police, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has said it doubts whether the force can conduct a fair and impartial probe in the Rohtak rape case. The rape victim Sarita, a mother of two small children committed suicide on Monday right outside the Haryana police chief's office. For two months, her complaints against two police constables went unheard. The accused cops were arrested on Wednesday and are in custody and all the top cops in Rohtak have already been transferred out over this case.
